Welcome to Salt & Bloom Co by using this website, enquiring or booking our services, you agree to the Terms & Conditions outlined below.

These terms are designed to keep everything clear and fair for both Salt & Bloom Co and our clients, and are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

Services

Salt & Bloom Co provides wedding and event floristry services including floral design, sourcing, styling, delivery, setup and pack down where agreed.

All services will be clearly outlined in your quote, proposal, invoice or agreement.

Quotes & Pricing

All quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.

Pricing is based on:

  • Flower selection and seasonal availability

  • Design time and labour

  • Installation and setup

  • Delivery and travel

  • Hire items and styling

  • Supplier and market pricing at the time of booking

Because flowers are seasonal and market prices can vary, substitutions may occasionally be required. Any changes will always be made with care to maintain the overall style, colour palette and value of your original design.

Booking & Deposit

A 20% non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your wedding or event date.

Your booking is only confirmed once:

  • The signed agreement is received, and

  • The booking fee has been paid

Dates cannot be held without payment.

Payment Terms

Payment schedules will be outlined in your invoice or agreement.

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • Final payment is due 30 days prior to your event

  • Late payments may result in cancellation of services

  • Services may be paused or withheld until full payment is received

Changes & Final Details

We understand that plans can evolve.

  • Minor adjustments can usually be accommodated

  • Major changes (including design, quantities or venue changes) within 30 days of the event cannot be guaranteed

  • Additional costs may apply for late changes

  • Final details must be confirmed by the agreed cut-off date

Seasonal Availability & Substitutions

Flowers are seasonal and subject to availability.

While we always aim to source your requested blooms, exact varieties cannot be guaranteed. If substitutions are needed due to seasonality, weather, or supply issues, we will select flowers that best match your original style, colour palette and overall design.

Delivery, Setup & Hire Items

Delivery and setup times will be arranged in line with your venue schedule.

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate venue access details

  • Ensuring safe and accessible setup areas

  • Communicating venue requirements in advance

Hire items (if included) remain the property of Salt & Bloom Co and must be returned in good condition. Replacement costs may apply for any damage, loss or missing items.

Candles & Styling Items

Where candles or styling items are provided, the client and venue are responsible for ensuring all fire and safety regulations are followed.

Salt & Bloom Co is not responsible for any incidents, damage or injury once items have been installed and handed over.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your booking:

  • The 20% booking fee is non-refundable

  • Additional payments may be partially refundable depending on timing and work already completed

  • Cancellations within 30 days of the event are unlikely to be refundable due to preparation and supplier commitments

Force Majeure

Salt & Bloom Co is not liable for delays or changes caused by events outside of our control, including but not limited to:

  • Extreme weather

  • Natural disasters

  • Supplier or flower shortages

  • Venue issues

  • Illness or emergencies

  • Government restrictions

We will always do our best to communicate clearly and offer suitable alternatives where possible.

Photography & Portfolio Use

We may photograph our work for use in:

  • Website

  • Social media

  • Marketing and portfolio

Photographer credit will be given where possible.

If you do not wish for your images to be used, please notify us in writing prior to your event.

Intellectual Property

All designs, proposals, mood boards, and content created by Salt & Bloom Co remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed.

They may not be copied, reproduced or distributed without permission.

Website Use

By using this website, you agree not to:

  • Use it for unlawful purposes

  • Interfere with website functionality

  • Copy or reproduce content without permission

We may update website content at any time without notice.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under Australian law, Salt & Bloom Co is not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential loss

  • Delays caused by third parties

  • Minor variations in flower colour, shape or availability

  • Events outside of our reasonable control

Nothing in these Terms excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of NSW courts.
